CEE Students Give Back

Our students are committed to making a difference in both the local and global community. In recent years, students have formed an Ambassadors For Change program at our school. It provides ongoing opportunities for all students to participate in philanthropic projects in our local, state, national, and global communities.

In addition, many classrooms or grade levels have created a philanthropic missions, which affords students the opportunity to serve our community, donate funds and/or materials to a noble cause.

Some of these philanthropies include Allison's Heart, Tempe Adopt A Street, The Crayon Initiative, Barb's Dog Rescue, Matthew's Crossing Food Drive, and more!

Some of our school-wide philanthropic projects include:

Change for Hope, which serves rural communities in Nepal through education, medical care, housing needs, and other basic living necessities.

American Heart Association, where our students learn about healthy hearts and fundraise through a jump-rope-a-thon for other kids with 'special' hearts.

Feed My Starving Children, where our students spend a morning packing nutritious meals that are sent around the world to communities in need to prevent and reverse under-nutrition.

Operation Christmas Child, from families to staff, to community members, students pack shoebox gifts each year to bless children in need around the world.

Autism Speaks Arizona, Susan G. Komen FoundationNothing Down, and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society where our students come dressed head to toe in the theme for the day, and bring $1 or more to go towards the chosen

philanthropy.
